This entry-level unit standard is for people working in a commercial kitchen who have an understanding of preparation practices and basic cooking techniques. People credited with this unit standard are able to: prepare to cook; and cook and present rice and farinaceous dishes, in a commercial kitchen.
This Student Assessment (SA) is an assessment for an individual unit standard. The student completes the tasks outlined in the SA. Once an SA has been completed, it must be assessed by a registered assessor.
Note: for every SA there is a corresponding Tutor Assessment Guide (TAG) which guides the assessor when assessing the evidence. The TAG will be available for download once you have purchased the SA.
