This unit standard is intended for people who intend to work in a retail or distribution environment where the picking process is not controlled by a computerised inventory management system, and where decisions must be made on the order in which goods are picked. People credited with this unit standard are, under supervision, able to: pick, pack, and stack goods in a retail or distribution environment; and prepare picked goods for dispatch to customers.
A Student Assessment (SA) is an assessment for an individual unit standard. The student completes the tasks outlined in the SA. Once an SA has been completed, it must be assessed by a registered assessor.
Note: for every SA there is a corresponding Tutor Assessment Guide (TAG) which guides the assessor when assessing the evidence. The TAG will be available for download once you have purchased the SA.
