This entry-level unit standard is for people who work in a commercial hospitality environment. People credited with this unit standard are able to: demonstrate knowledge of calculating food costs; and calculate food costs, for dishes in a commercial hospitality environment.
A Student Assessment (SA) is an assessment for an individual unit standard. The student completes the tasks outlined in the SA. Once an SA has been completed, it must be assessed by a registered assessor.
Note: for every SA there is a corresponding Tutor Assessment Guide (TAG) which guides the assessor when assessing the evidence. The TAG will be available for download once you have purchased the SA.
