This unit standard is for people who are training to work in a retail environment and includes a basic understanding of providing a positive customer experience when purchasing goods and/or services. People credited with this unit standard are able to establish and maintain positive customer service interactions in a retail environment.

A Student Assessment (SA) is an assessment for an individual unit standard. The student completes the tasks outlined in the SA. Once an SA has been completed, it must be assessed by a registered assessor.

Note: for every SA there is a corresponding Tutor Assessment Guide (TAG) which guides the assessor when assessing the evidence. The TAG will be available for download once you have purchased the SA.
